The Challenge: No More Physical Servers

The Company

South West Holiday Parks are an independent Holiday Park operator, with three stunning Parks located in some of the most beautiful coastal and rural areas of the UK’s South West peninsula. Each of the Parks offer something that makes it exceptional; whether that be incredible sea views, superb locations close to popular holiday destinations, or continually developing first-class leisure facilities.

The Challenge

South West Holiday Parks data centre infrastructure was outdated. There was a lot of risk present as hardware assets were out of warranty and systems were close to end-of-life. The company was not taking full advantage of a cloud first approach.

The Solution

Our main goal was to eliminate the risk present within the environment by removing all physical server hardware, allowing South West Holiday Parks to take full advantage of the Microsoft Cloud. Already using Microsoft Office 365 to increase productivity, we achieved server hardware consolidation by deploying Microsoft Azure (Cloud server) infrastructure for their Park Management Software (ParcVu) and utilise Microsoft Azure Active Directory for PC login. Furthermore, we migrated an outdated VoIP Phone System Server to a Microsoft Teams Phone System, allowing South West Holiday Parks to chat, meet, call and collaborate, all in one place.
